Peter Wise, MLitt, MBCS, CITP
IGSS was founded by Peter Wise.Building on a 38-year career in the computer industry, mainly in real-time software development, Peter went back to college to do a research masters. The research involved using a GIS assisting the interpretation of archaeological monuments.
Specifically, the research postulated a novel theory why linear earthworks were built during the Iron Age in the Ulster borders region. The dissertation analyses approximately 50 linear earthworks and contains hundreds of maps, charts and photos.
Since receiving an honours for his masters, a number of projects have been undertaken.
